NLM 4th Birthday Leather Weekend

Welcome to our Newcastle 4th Birthday Leather Weekend, to be held from Friday 20th March to Sunday 22nd March 2026.
​
We have various activities and events planned for over the weekend and would very much like to invite you to join us to celebrate our 4th Birthday!!
Below you will find more details about the weekend like purchasing your wristband, activities and meals.

​Timetable of events
Friday 20th March:
18:00 to 20:00 Welcome drink at The Eagle, collect your wristband and goodie bag.
20:30 till late our monthly Leather Social.
There will be a Bootblack in attendance and also a photographer.

Saturday 21st March:
11:00 to 13:00 History walk around Newcastle (free event)
13:00 to 14:00 Visit to the famous Grainger Market to purchase some lunch from the varied food stalls / cafes (free event)
14:30 to 16:30 Cigar Social at The Yard/Oscars (free event)
and / or
14:30 to 16:30 Discovery Museum (free event)
18:30 to 21:00 Leather Dinner including welcome drink at Blackfriars Restaurant (paid event)
20:00 to 23:00 Leather Social at The Eagle
23:00 to 04:00 DILF club night at SR44 (entry included with wristband)

Sunday 22nd March:​
11:00 to 13:00 Brunch at the Slug & Lettuce on Newcastle Quayside (paid event) also an opportunity to take in the quayside and our famous bridges.
14:30 to 16:00 Farewell Drinks with Bingo or quiz, venue TBC (free event)

Below is the information regarding the Leather Dinner and Sunday Brunch.
To register for either event please click the PAY DEPOSIT button when on the event page this will bring up a form to register.

Leather Dinner at Blackfriars
Saturday 21st March
18:30 to 21:00
We would love for you to join us for the Leather Dinner.
The price is £35 for a three course meal. (Drinks to be paid for separately.)

Once registered you will receive a confirmation message to make payment, when payment has been received you will receive a further email titled Blackfriars Restaurant with a link requesting you make your food choices The restaurant will directly receive your meal choices and we will also receive a copy.

Brunch at Slug & Lettuce
Sunday 22nd March
11:00 to 13:00
Join us for a gentle start to the last day of the Leather Weekend at the Slug & Lettuce.
​
Located on the Newcastle Quayside serving an array of brunch dishes to suit all tastes at reasonable prices.

​We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time at our Leather Weekend. With this in mind please read through the points listed below:

Wearing your leather / gear does not give implied or explicit consent, be respectful and communicate.

There will be photographs taken over the weekend that will be published on our social media, should you wish NOT to be included, we operate and 'opt out' policy so unless we are notified it will be deemed that you are comfortable with having your photograph taken.

There will be group members wearing 'HOST' lanyards over the course of the weekend, so if you have any queries or concerns please let them know & we will try to assist as best we can.

The venues over the weekend are not exclusive to us and there will be members of the public in attendance.
